Barbaresco
With a population of just over 600, the village seems even smaller when you walk through its centre. Barbaresco is a jewel nestled among the hills of the Langhe, with views of the Roero and Monferrato.
The sinuous Tanaro river flows at its feet, meandering through a wide valley that looks like a breath of light from up there.
Barbaresco is a village renowned for its wine, and its medieval tower offers breathtaking views of the Tanaro River. The restored tower now houses a museum which tells the story of Barbaresco's past, present and future, with multimedia exhibits on the history of the village and its wine. Open from March to December, the Barbaresco Tower has become one of Piedmont's must-see attractions.
