Like any self-respecting boomer, Mario belongs to a generation that believes in "enjoying technology, but with moderation".

He is a lover of straight-line photography and videos with curated images, and he shoots and films what he sees with slow rhythms and wide-angle lenses.

Mario's language consists of clean, geometric and, most of the time, fixed camera shots, and is devoid of colourful graphics, fast transitions or voice-over commentary of any kind. The subjects of these shots are evocative natural landscapes, small details of products, fine wine cellars and traditional features, captured with great attention to composition.

As part of the “A Heritage to be Told” project, Mario explores the territory by giving local people a voice through video interviews that capture their stories, traditions, and authentic points of view. In his characteristic, straightforward style, he captures the essence of storytelling, emphasising the cultural and human richness of the local community.
